Tips For Life Balance

For many women, the work/life balance is one of our greatest challenges.
Society tends to place unrealistic expectations upon women to be “perfect.” There are no easy answers to balancing work with family but here are some suggestions.

Lose The Guilt

You’re NOT going to the Spa you’re going work. Stop feeling guilty about you personal career goals or a NEED to pay the bills.

Divide The Household Chores

If you are a single mom, enlist your kids! Take the time to divide the chores with your partner.

Keep Your Mind In The Moment

Don’t bring work home and bring home to work.

Schedule In Time For Yourself

Busy women need to recharge. Get out of the house with your girlfriends, talk a walk, get a manicure or whatever indulgence you like.

Shift Your Own Expectations Of Yourself

At the end of the day, recognize what you have accomplished instead of obsessing about what you didn’t finish. Take care of yourself and try to have a sense of humor!
