The Conservative
Alias - Presbyterian
Recipe
- 1-1/2 parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon
- 1/2 part club soda
- 1/2 part ginger ale
- Lemon twist
Fill a rocks glass with ice and add Maker’s Mark® Bourbon.
Fill with equal parts club soda and ginger ale. Stir and garnish with a lemon
twist.
Notes
Originally a nonalcoholic combination of ginger ale
and club soda (hence the name, Presbyterian), the Presbyterian is usually
served today as a combination of club soda, ginger ale and whisky. Classically
simple, a truly heavenly Presbyterian always starts with Maker’s Mark®.
